As with human trafficking, the commercial sex industry and the individual user, it’s all about supply and demand. But we’re turning the world on it’s ear – setting it aright!  International Athletes’ Abolition Mission uses athletics and the platforms of individual athletes to share “pornography truth” and make clear the commercial sex industry’s link to human trafficking.  We’ve set out to end the deMANd for trafficked victims by replacing existing societal mores and messages – the ones that make sexual exploitation “o.k.” in the minds of many – with those of a more just and accurate nature.  So this time we’ll be an ever-growing team of individuals creating the (non)demand and eliminating the need for supply!

IAAM shares messages of its own!  Athletes and abolitionists working within our sport outreach programs will educate and enlighten individuals around the corner and around the world by using “initiatives,” specific talking points designed to counter those dominating today’s society.

Young and the well-seasoned alike are bombarded throughout each and every day with myths.  How do they come into existence and how are they perpetuated?  One certainty is a purposeful distortion of truth made by an industry seeking greater and greater profit, hoping to create more users and addicts to sustain a need for their product.  A second consideration is the normalization of behavior sought by those who desire to excuse that of their own doing.

Messages reviewed, renewed and restated are the (hashtag) special plays practiced and executed by IAAM athletes.  We measure success in small victories over the length of a season or many seasons, leading to our ultimate goal.  Unique to IAAM via the work put in by our sports outreach, IAAM initiatives combine science that has finally caught up with Truth, common sense guy/girl talk, practical steps individuals can take to contribute to IAAM’s team effort, and personal delivery to captivate max capacity or a crowd of one.
